About The Role
Reed Technology is seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Specialist to join their dynamic infrastructure team in Newcastle. This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity for a technology professional passionate about cloud computing and enterprise infrastructure. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in developing, supporting, and enhancing the company's hybrid cloud and datacentre services. Your expertise will contribute to optimizing the organization’s cloud environment, ensuring high performance, security, and cost-efficiency. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you will be instrumental in delivering strategic technology initiatives that align with the company's goals. Qualifications
- Strong background in managing enterprise cloud and server infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Relevant qualifications include Microsoft Azure certifications.
- Extensive hands-on experience with cloud platforms, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Windows Server technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
- Experience working with a broad range of technical and business stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for service improvement and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level support for cloud and server platforms, ensuring stability, security, and performance.
- Lead the technical delivery of infrastructure enhancements, upgrades, and modernization initiatives to keep systems current and efficient.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues promptly, while implementing preventative measures to avoid recurrence.
- Manage and optimize Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Windows Server environments to meet organizational needs.
- Identify and implement improvements to platform performance, reliability, scalability, and cost management.
- Support automation efforts and streamline operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation and share knowledge with team members to promote best practices.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of strategic technology programs aligned with organizational goals.
