We are looking to recruit an Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for a technology-driven public sector organisation.
This is a hands-on Azure infrastructure role focused on supporting, managing and improving a Microsoft cloud environment. The organisation is looking for someone with practical experience managing Azure tenants, subscriptions and cloud resources, not just Microsoft 365, Intune or Entra administration.
The successful candidate will act as a senior technical escalation point, helping to strengthen Azure governance, support cloud-first delivery, improve automation and close key skills gaps across Azure infrastructure, identity and operational support.
This is not a traditional on-premise infrastructure role with occasional exposure to cloud, and it is not purely an Intune / Microsoft 365 administration role. The successful candidate will bring genuine hands-on Azure experience, ideally alongside a good understanding of hybrid Microsoft environments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
