About the Role
As an Azure IaaS Customer Engineer, you’ll play a strategic advisory, architecture, and cloud expertise role, guiding enterprise and government clients (including UK-based and hybrid environments) through end-to-end IaaS solutions Built on Azure’s core services, your mission is to deliver scalable, secure, and optimized cloud environments in collaboration with clients—driving transformative outcomes.
Based in the UK (remote-friendly), you’ll ensure Concentrix remains the go-to partner for Azure IaaS infrastructure and support their clients’ digital transformation journeys.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
✅ Architecture & Consulting
- Design, advise, and implement cloud-optimized Azure IaaS architectures (VMs, networking, storage, backup, disaster recovery, security).
- Apply Azure Well-Architected Framework, Cloud Adoption Framework, and modern IT strategies to build resilient, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions for enterprise/government customers.
- Lead cloud migration and modernization efforts, including hybrid deployments, using Azure Arc, Azure Site Recovery AZ, and Governance.
✅ Customer Engagement & Execution
- Act as trusted advisor for customer executives/seniors, interpreting business needs into Azure-focused technical strategies.
- Engage in customer discovery calls, executive reviews, proof-of-concept (PoC) demos, and deep-dive sessions.
- Deliver objection handling, decision consulting, and solution roadmaps tailored to technical leaders.

✅ Advisory & Change Management
- Assist clients in شن/Data strategy development and drive Azure adoption roadmaps aligned to their strategic objectives.
- Develop and present business cases for cloud transformation, including TCO and ROI metrics.
✅ Hybrid & Cross-Platform Expertise
- Develop hybrid integration strategies, leveraging on-premises and cloud resources during migration.
- Benchmark Azure against competitors (AWS, GCP) to inform decision-making.

Must-Have Expertise
Azure Infrastructure Proficiency

Deep knowledge of Azure IaaS, including:
- Virtual Machines (Azure VMs)
- Azure Arc (extending infrastructure management across multi-cloud/cloud-native)
- Azure Backup & Site Recovery
- Azure Networking (VNet, NSG, ExpressRoute, CDN)
- Azure Storage (Blob, Files, Disks,Hierarchical Namespace)
- Observability & Monitoring (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
- Azure Policy (governance, compliance, security)
- Azure Insights (cost, performance, risk)

Practical experience in Azure Well-Architected review and implementing its five pillars (reliability, security, performance, cost optimization, operational excellence).
Cloud-Centric Mindset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (Plan, Assess, Mobilize, Migrate, Innovate, Govern).
- Experience in IaaS/PaaS/SaaS ecosystems, including ms-DevOps, Kubernetes (AKS), and Azure App Services.
- competes both pre-and post-migration, guiding operators and IT teams.
Experience & Certifications
🔹 8+ years in cloud-focused roles, specializing in:
- Azure systems/deployment/test
- Government/enterprise customer support/IT consulting/compliance
- Advanced troubleshooting in infrastructure/operations Soyav
🔹 Microsoft certifications:
- Highly preferred: AZ-300 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert), AZ-500 (Security), AZ-104 (Administrator)
- Familiarity with **M融Master Devices/F100/Ambiented approaches.

- Bachelor’s/equivalent degree in Information Technology (or equivalent experience)
Preferred but Nice-to-Have Skills
- Hybrid architectures: Experience designing on-premises-to-cloud joint models for companies with legacy systems.
- Competitor clouds: Understanding of AWS/Azure pricing and features to align Azure recommendations.
- Microsoft Modern IT Architecture: Mastery in security, governance, and automation via Azure AD, Intune, and Config Mgmt.
- Advanced certifications: MICROS Substitute with Azure Specialist certifications (e.g., Mobility Governance orBAA).
Key Characteristics & Qualities
- Trusted Advisor: Strong diagnostic and agenda-quality leadership to influence client decisions.
- Problem Solver: Sifting through complex scenarios to propose proven resolution paths.
- Customer Champion: Listen/empathize team to business-strategy alignment—prioritizing executive-influenced programs.
- Confident Communicator: Explaining technical “why”, conceptual “data + use cases, uswB/SLM options** **to non-technical teams.
- Independence: Able to drive work autonomously on site or remotely.
