Azure Infrastructure & Cloud Operations Manager
Fully Remote (UK) | Occasional travel to London | Up to £60,000 + Excellent Benefits
Tenth Revolution Group is recruiting on behalf of a respected UK organisation within the healthcare and public sector, looking to appoint an experienced Azure Infrastructure & Cloud Operations Manager to lead its cloud infrastructure, operational services and cyber security function.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on technical work with leadership and strategic responsibility. You'll be joining a small, collaborative IT team where you'll have genuine influence over technology decisions and the direction of the organisation's cloud estate.
Rather than being another engineer in a large enterprise, you'll become the technical lead for infrastructure, working closely with the Head of IT to shape strategy, lead key projects and mentor a small team.
The Role
You'll take ownership of the organisation's Microsoft infrastructure and Azure platform while helping drive an ongoing cloud transformation programme.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading Azure infrastructure, Microsoft 365 and identity management services
- Driving cloud strategy, infrastructure improvements and technology roadmaps
- Managing a small team of infrastructure and support professionals
- Leading infrastructure and cloud migration projects
- Ensuring high availability, resilience, disaster recovery and business continuity
- Overseeing cyber security, vulnerability management and compliance activities
- Working with third-party suppliers and security partners
- Supporting modern DevOps and cloud-native environments
- Acting as the senior technical escalation point across infrastructure services

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
