About this opportunity

We're modernising with cloud, a platform that is quick, secure and resilient for customers and easy, modern and green for developers. We're looking for an Azure Landing Zone Site Reliability Engineer to join our Public Cloud Platform as a Squad Lead.

You’ll have a unique opportunity to be part of an ambitious team with the purpose of driving our tech modernisation agenda and enable us to become the biggest Fintech in the UK. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in leading others in operations teams and can demonstrate an SRE approach and mindset. Commitment to great service whilst providing supporting high-quality, scalable solutions is a must. What you’ll do

  • Take a lead role organising and supporting a group of engineers working in our front-line Azure SRE team, collaborating with business platforms across the bank to build, release and evolve modern scalable Public Cloud solutions. The team cover a wider range of Azure Cloud products as well as support for a number of LBG built services which enable LBG engineers to build on Azure Public Cloud (including some out of hours/on-call duties worked on a rota basis)
  • Take an SRE approach to this operations role, focussing on availability and reliability whilst always looking at opportunities for better observability, automation, and toil reduction.
  • Contribute to the wider Public Cloud strategic technology roadmaps

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
