Azure Platform Engineer
Cloud & Server Engineer (Azure / Infrastructure / DevOps)
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for designing, building, and supporting cloud and server infrastructure across hybrid and public cloud environments. You’ll work closely with EUC and VDI teams to ensure platform stability, performance, and scalability.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and support Azure and hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Manage server provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle
- Deliver platform optimisation (cost, performance, availability)
- Support networking fundamentals (DNS, routing, firewalls, connectivity)
- Build and maintain high-availability and load-balanced environments
- Manage identity integration (Entra ID / Azure AD, RBAC)
- Deliver infrastructure automation (IaC, scripting, CI/CD integration)
- Support cloud-to-on-prem connectivity and hybrid design
- Contribute to security and compliance best practices

VDI Alignment (Required / Desirable)
- Support Azure Virtual Desktop platform components
- Understanding of host pools, scaling, and performance tuning
- Experience supporting FSLogix / storage profiles / session hosts
- Work with the EUC team on VDI application and image dependencies
