Azure Platform Engineer | Fully Remote | Up to £65,000
A well-established UK managed services provider is hiring for an Azure Platform Engineer on behalf of their team.
About the Role
This is a small, close-knit team of three platform engineers and a Technical Architect, working on Azure environments for regulated and business-critical clients.
A hands-on building role, not a support or monitoring function, this position involves:
- Writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Bicep, Terraform, or ARM Templates)
- Designing and improving CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Owning monitoring, alerting, and incident response daily
- Supporting Azure migration projects and new environment onboarding
- Sharing knowledge and best practice across the wider team

Key Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining Azure infrastructure through IaC
- Designing and optimising CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Taking ownership of monitoring, alerting, and incident response
- Supporting Azure migration projects and new environments
- Foster knowledge-sharing and adherence to best practices
Requirements
- Strong hands-on Azure experience across:
- Compute
- Networking
- Storage
- Security
- Solid IaC skills, preferably Azure-specific rather than multi-cloud generalist experience
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Background progressing from infrastructure, sysadmin, or support into platform or DevOps engineering
- Eligibility for SC clearance (Security Cleared)
