Position Overview

We have an exciting new 1-year maternity cover opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Marketing Manager to join our European Marketing and Communications team based in London. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to build and maintain a strong corporate brand across multiple target audiences, and jurisdictions, and effectively promoting offerings to sophisticated B2B customers.

The successful candidate will report to the Marketing and Communications Director, Europe, working closely with key internal stakeholders and an esteemed network of partner Agency’s.

Key Responsibilities

Whilst based at our London HQ, this is a pan-European role including delivery of strategic marketing initiatives within the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, and Japan.

  • Marketing strategy: Execute strategic marketing initiatives tailored to key target audiences to achieve business objectives and growth targets.
  • Visual brand management: Oversee and support the business in maintaining consistency and coherence to all visual aspects of brand communication, directing creative concepts to ensure high-quality, brand-aligned execution across photography, video, digital and print assets.
  • Content creation: Manage the creation of high-quality content such as whitepapers, reports, case studies, presentations, photography, video and multimedia assets. Develop creative briefs and storyboards and manage external production agencies from brief through delivery.
  • Sales enablement: Collaborate with site acquisition, design and sales teams to develop marketing collateral including presentations, asset sheets, web, video and social content.
  • Marketing campaigns: Plan, execute and optimise integrated marketing campaigns across digital, PR, content, events and partner channels to generate awareness, engagement and commercial opportunities.
  • Thought leadership and speaker programme: Identify and coordinate relevant industry events, webinars, awards and speaking opportunities, including speaker submissions, abstracts and briefing materials, working with the PR agency to support wider media and reputation activity.
  • Event management: Plan and oversee presence at industry, proprietary, customer and community events across Europe working with internal stakeholders and external vendors coordinating objectives, guest outreach, speaker preparation, logistics, content, follow-up and evaluation.
  • Digital marketing: Manage European digital marketing requirements across website content, email marketing, paid campaigns, SEO/SEM, social media and analytics, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external agency/platform partners as needed.
  • Market knowledge: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, customer insights and emerging market developments to identify opportunities and inform marketing strategy.
  • Reporting: Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing initiatives and provide regular reports.
  • Budget and process management: Manage allocated budgets, purchase orders, vendor scopes, project trackers and campaign calendars to ensure delivery on time and on budget.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, communications, business, or related subjects.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience with proven track record of delivering to a high standard.
  • Data centre, real estate or digital infrastructure experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Travel across Europe will be necessary, c. 10% of a working month.
