B2B Operations Support Representative
About the Role
As a B2B Operations Support Representative, you’ll play a vital role in helping some of our largest and most important customers do business with Screwfix.
Working at the heart of our B2B team, you’ll coordinate the processes that underpin customer success:
- Managing complex orders and invoicing requirements
- Supporting tender submissions
- Maintaining customer-specific catalogues and portals
This is more than an operational support role. It’s an opportunity to become a trusted partner to both customers and colleagues, building strong relationships across Sales, Finance, Buying, and Supply Chain to ensure every customer requirement is delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with B2B Sales, Support, and Line Managers to ensure tasks are completed effectively and efficiently
- Provide accurate manual invoicing and consolidated statements for Key Account customers, maintaining high customer service standards
- Upload invoices onto customer-specific portals to agreed deadlines for prompt payment
- Proactively manage bulk orders for Key Account Customers, building strong relationships with Finance, Buying, and Supply Chain to ensure:
- High standards of service
- Punctual customer payments
- Leverage excellent product knowledge to identify and fulfil customer needs, offering tailored solutions
- Work with Buying & Supply Chain to:
- Negotiate pricing based on payment terms
- Ensure stock availability
- Secure optimal deals for customers while protecting margins
- Assist the Account Management team with:
- Tender submissions
- Product selection
- Accurate portal data entry
- Produce and maintain:
- Electronic catalogues
- Price files
- Portal loads with the most up-to-date versions
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in recognising and addressing customer needs, with a focus on high-quality service
- Sharp attention to detail, spotting discrepancies across systems
- Self-motivated, with a results-driven mindset
- Strong product awareness and understanding of Key Accounts & customer requirements
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive, deadline-driven environment
- Confident communicator across all levels, able to convey messages clearly and concisely
- Excellent prioritisation and workload management
- Basic/Intermediate Excel experience
