Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site B2B Sales role based in East Kilbride with BT Local Business Scotland. The role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, managing a pipeline of prospects, and building long-term relationships with small and medium-sized customers across Scotland. The B2B Sales professional will consult with clients to understand their communication needs, present tailored BT solutions, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts.

- Conducting outbound calls and meetings
- Following up on leads
- Maintaining accurate CRM records
- Collaborating with technical and customer support teams to ensure smooth delivery of services
- Monitoring account performance
- Acting on opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
- Contributing to local marketing or networking activities to promote BT’s services
Qualifications
- Strong B2B sales skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, and closing deals in a business communications or technology environment.
- Customer relationship management skills, with experience in account management, consultative selling, and delivering ongoing customer support.
- Commercial awareness and negotiation skills, including the ability to understand business challenges, build value-led proposals, and negotiate pricing and terms.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present solutions clearly, handle objections, and engage confidently with stakeholders at different levels.
- Organizational and time-management skills, including experience using CRM systems, managing multiple accounts, and prioritizing sales activities effectively.
- Comfort working in an on-site, team-oriented environment, with a proactive approach to collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
- Previous experience in telecommunications, IT, or digital infrastructure sales is beneficial.
- A valid driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites across Scotland, as required.
- Relevant education or training in business, sales, or a related field is an advantage, though equivalent experience is also valued.
