The Role: Crew Training Specialist (CTS)
We’re seeking Permanent Full-time Ground Crew Instructors to design, deliver, and oversee a variety of training programmes for our Pilot and Cabin Crew communities. Your expertise will ensure we meet CAA and Euroflyer regulatory standards while nurturing top-tier talent.
What You’ll Do
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, delivering, and updating training content for courses across:
- SEP (Single Engine Piston) training
- CRM (Crew Resource Management)
- First Aid
- Creating and maintaining session plans, training aids, and online learning modules within our Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Supporting and coaching Cabin Crew Instructors (CCI) to maintain continuous compliance, standardisation, and professional development.
- Conducting audits and inflight assessments, including co-ordination training.
- Ensuring all content aligns with CAA regulations and company policies.

Additional Responsibilities (Per Applicant Type)
- External candidates: Must qualify as Cabin Crew with a pathway to SCCM (Senior Cabin Crew Member) to support flights during the summer season.
- Internal candidates: Continues in current role with continued flying requirements over the summer.
Essential Requirements & Skills
- Minimum 12 months’ experience as a Crew Training Instructor (applicants from outside/inside BA).
- Flying experience as a Cabin Crew Member (or equivalent).
- Strong communication, coaching, and mentoring skills for fostering professional growth.
- Exceptional attention to detail in designing structured training material.
- A commitment to compliance with CAA and company regulatory standards.
- Willingness to flexibly work across locations, including Crawley, London Gatwick, and London Heathrow.

Your Work Framework
- 37.5-hour working week, including weekends (flexibility is essential).
- Training requires periodic travel between locations.
