The Role – Baby Room Leader
You’ll lead, mentor, and nurture a team to deliver exceptional care and education, optimising children’s individual progress and daily milestones.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure child welfare, health, safety, and safeguarding compliance
- Maintain open collaboration with parents, colleagues, and external professionals to support each child’s needs
- Supervise staff to uphold best practice in play, learning, and child development
- Align daily activities with EYFS framework (and other legislative requirements)
- Foster an inclusive, fun, and stimulating learning environment for mixed-age groups
Who We’re Looking For
You must demonstrate:
- Formal qualification: Full/relevant Level 3 (or above) in Early Years (e.g., Early Years Educator, Nursery Nurse, or Bachelor’s in Childhood Studies)
- Minimum 1+ year of Early Years experience—preferably as:
- a Room Leader, Nursery Practitioner, or Early Years Educator
- Strong foundation in EYFS and Safeguarding (Child Protection & wider legislation)
- Inspirational leadership skills, with proven ability to:
- Build trustful relations with parents/colleagues
- Inspire and mentor teams to deliver outstanding outcomes
- Adapt communication techniques for mixed audiences
