About Reclinker

Reclinker is a fast-growing climate-tech startup transforming cement recycling. We are preparing to launch our first product to market and are entering a critical phase of rapid scale-up in both production capacity and commercial traction.

We are looking for people who are committed to - and consistently demonstrate - our company values of:

  • Intellectually curious: Keen to learn and try something new.
  • Open and humble: Open to new ideas, without ego.
  • Collaborative: Ask for help and support each other.
  • Data-driven: Query, find and follow the numbers.
  • Have a sense of fun: Enjoy each other's company and our journey together.
  • Autonomous: Self-motivated, manage ambiguity and take the initiative.

The Role

We are hiring a back-end and database engineer with Linux administration experience who can help build and manage a bespoke toolchain for a complex and data intensive experimental and industrial production workflows. You will be responsible for building and deploying the pipeline going from production data and lab experiment results to structured data suitable for technical analysis. You will be supported by the team responsible for the UI/UX of user-facing tools.

This is a high responsibility job, as you will be tasked to design and build a back-end system architecture which will scale with our operations and enable us to fully use the wealth of information we generate. The system needs to be highly reliable, responsive, and secure. Your first project will be to orchestrate the safe migration of the existing data to the new back-end you will have designed and deployed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
