We are looking for a Back End Developer for one of our customers who has an expertise in:

Role Overview

The Backend Developer will design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend applications and REST APIs for enterprise platforms. The role focuses on building API-driven services, integrating with enterprise systems, implementing security best practices, and supporting applications that handle sensitive business data in regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Build backend services that are secure, reliable, and maintainable.
  • Implement business logic, data validation, and robust exception/error handling.
  • Integrate backend applications with enterprise platforms and third-party services.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Develop APIs following OpenAPI/Swagger standards.
  • Ensure API security, encryption, and compliance with enterprise security policies.
  • Implement audit logging, monitoring, and traceability for enterprise applications.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide operational support.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality using GitHub and SonarQube.
  • Work closely with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, and support teams in Agile environments.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and GitHub repositories.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and documentation activities.
