We at Coforge are looking for Sr. Java Backend Developer in Sheffield, UK.
Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, MS SQL Server, cloud-native development, and API engineering. DevOps experiences are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
- Participate in architecture, design reviews, and technical discussions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot critical incidents.
- Integrate AI services and automation capabilities into applications where appropriate.

Qualifications
- 6-10+ years of software development experience.
- Strong understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
