Back End Developer

Senior Product Engineer (Go, TypeScript, AWS, React)

London | Hybrid (1-2 days in the office) £100,000–£120,000 + Equity

We're partnering with an exciting AI-native SaaS business that's building a product used by hundreds of enterprise customers worldwide. As they continue to scale, they're looking for a Senior Product Engineer to take ownership of key areas of the platform and help shape both the product and technical direction.

This is a genuine product engineering role where you'll work closely with customers, have a voice in technical decisions, and own features from idea through to production.

About the Role

As the Senior Product Engineer, you'll have:

  • Ownership of full-stack development using modern technologies
  • Close collaboration with customers to solve real product challenges
  • Influence over architecture and technical direction
  • Active involvement in improving engineering practices and product quality

Responsibilities

Building & delivering modern web solutions across the software stack. Designing scalable backend services & APIs with a performance and reliability focus. Engaging directly with customers to understand and resolve key issues. Guiding technical decisions, from architecture to implementation. Enhancing engineering practices, including code quality and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Strong experience developing modern web applications
  • Proficiency in backend development (Go preferred, or willingness to transition)
  • Hands-on expertise with TypeScript & React
  • Product-focused mindset with a dedication to excellent UX/UI execution
  • Comfort with high-growth, fast-moving environments
  • Thrives on autonomy—ownership of projects and problem-solving over mere ticket completion
