Oak View Group is reinventing the way the world comes together.

Driven by a passion to revolutionise the live events industry with dynamic thinking and an unshakeable dedication to those we serve, OVG turns up the volume on what makes life extraordinary.

From inspired development to curated hospitality, from brand innovation to premium for all, OVG is setting new standards and redefining expectations for everyone.

About The Venue

Sky Garden sits at the very top of 20 Fenchurch Street — better known as the 'Walkie Talkie' — one of London's most recognisable landmarks. At 35 floors up, it's home to two restaurants, two bars, and a series of stunning event spaces, all set within a sprawling landscaped garden with sweeping views across the capital.

The operation is managed by Rhubarb, a leading luxury hospitality company and part of Oak View Group (OVG) — a global powerhouse in live entertainment and venue management. It's a complex, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders, high volumes, and absolutely no room for the back of house operation to slip.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Role Purpose

This is a logistics-driven role, not a kitchen porter position. As our Vertical Porter, you'll be responsible for moving food and beverage stock from our -1 warehouse up to our 2 restaurants and 2 bars on levels 35 to 37.

It's a demanding role with a high step count, so you'll need to be physically fit, organised and quick on your feet. You'll also support the set-up and clean-down of events for up to 500 guests.

To succeed as a Vertical Porter, you'll need to be highly organised, a strong communicator, and comfortable working at pace in a busy, fast-moving environment. This role isn't for everyone — but if you thrive on being active and part of a fast-paced team, you'll fit right in.

We have a friendly, supportive team and a positive culture — we work hard, but most importantly, we have fun. There's plenty of opportunity for progression and development if you want it.

This role mainly covers evenings and late nights

Due to business needs, candidates must be flexible with working hours.
