Are you passionate about food and dedicated to working behind the scenes to create delicious dishes? Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK) is looking for enthusiastic Back of House team members to join our dynamic kitchen crew. If you’re ready to contribute to crafting the best burgers in town, this is the role for you!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prep & Cook: Assist with food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and ready for cooking.
- Support the Grill: Help our grill chefs by preparing ingredients, managing orders, and ensuring a smooth flow of service.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the kitchen area clean, organised, and safe by following food hygiene and safety regulations.
- Stock Management: Monitor and manage kitchen stock levels, ensuring we’re always ready for service.
- Quality Assurance: Help ensure that every dish leaving the kitchen meets our high standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.
What You Bring
- Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is a plus, but a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn are essential.
- Attention to Detail: You take pride in your work and have a keen eye for ensuring everything is done to perfection.
- Speed & Efficiency: You can work quickly and efficiently under pressure, without compromising on quality.
- Team Spirit: You’re a team player who enjoys working with others to achieve the best results.
- Commitment to Cleanliness: A good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, with a dedication to keeping your workspace clean and organised.
