ABOUT US Indie Campers is Europe’s leading road trip provider, offering customers the freedom to explore in well-maintained and fully equipped campervans and RVs. Roadtrip Operations Agents are essential in guaranteeing a perfect customer journey - working behind the scenes to ensure every vehicle is safe, clean, functional, and ready for adventure. THE ROLE The Back Office Agent is responsible for the full preparation, inspection, and operational readiness of the fleet. This is a hands-on, high-energy, detail-oriented role focused on: Cleaning & detailing Fleet preparation & equipment setup Minor repairs & troubleshooting Stock & consumables control Depot organisation & logistics support The role sits at the heart of the operation, ensuring vehicles meet Indie Campers’ quality standards and are ready for customer check-in. Given the central role of Back Office in fleet readiness and depot performance, the Back Office Agent serves as the natural second-in-command to the City Lead in daily operational continuity. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON? Fleet Preparation & Cleaning: Clean and prepare vehicles, ensuring they meet Indie Campers' standards. Perform post-return inspections and maintain readiness for customer pick-ups. Stock & Consumables Management: Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and rental extras. Track shipments and report discrepancies. Logistics & Depot Organisation: Move campervans between areas, maintain a well-organised depot, and ensure efficient operation. Operational Support: Assist with fleet checks, minor repairs, and proactive issue reporting. Collaborate during peak periods for deep cleaning or kit preparation. On-Demand Support: Help with troubleshooting, cleaning, and fixing operational issues to ensure smooth deliveries. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Must have: Experience in cleaning, logistics, warehouse, automotive, hospitality, or operations preferred. Must have: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and hands-on mindset. Must have: Ability to lift, move, and clean vehicles and equipment. Must have: Comfortable working in fast-paced, physically active environments. Must have: Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with Front & Back Office, and Servicing. Must have: A driving license (Category B) is required. Must have: English proficiency. PHYSICAL AND OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Must have: Able to perform active physical tasks throughout the shift: standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions. Must have: Comfortable working on their feet for most of the day, moving between cleaning bays, parking areas, and depot work zones. Must have: Able to lift or carry equipment, cleaning materials, or accessories (up to 15–20 kg). Must have: Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must have: Able to clean, stage, and inspect vehicles, including tasks requiring bending, kneeling, or overhead reach. Must have: Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and peak-season periods, dapting to volume changes and operational urgencies. THE INDIE COMMITMENT! Competitive compensation and travel benefits.
