Hard Rock Café Back Room Bar Manager
Position Summary
To provide management and operational execution of the backroom bar, including:
- Live music promotions
- Marketing initiatives
- Innovative beverage & food recipes
- Strategic partnerships Ensuring the Hard Rock ‘Back Room Bar’ delivers a premium experience to guests, aligning with guest expectations and company goals.
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with Cafe Operations to execute recipes accurately.
- Maintain high standards of Guest Service.
- Align Cost of Sales (COS) with company strategic objectives.
- Maintain a catalog of innovative bar and menu recipes.
- Build and nurture relationships with vendors, industry leaders in music & beverage, and Marketing teams.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies, including profiling, design, and execution.
- Generate and cultivate Live Music leads.
- Research, develop, and propose new recipes for menu expansions or special events.
- Design and launch contests or promotions to drive engagement and sales.
- Ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations and company policies.
- Develop employee training tools for operational excellence.
- Work with Regional Sales & Marketing to leverage promotional and sales opportunities.
- Continuously refine and diversify the concept of the Back Room Bar.
- Support and institute operational needs as required across stores.

Shift Specification:
- Immediate availability for weekends and night shifts to meet business requirements.
Non-Essential (But Beneficial) Functions
- Fluorish as team lead to ensure guest delight and seamless execution across duties.
- Represent Hard Rock’s brand professionally among employees, guests, and partners.
- Engage at client functions or events to support reputation, foster sales, and encourage return visits.
- Enhance business growth via promotional strategies, participation in communal or industry events.
- Initiate and sustain positive community relations to elevate brand loyalty and reputation.
- Manage any annual philanthropic endeavours reflecting Hard Rock’s humanitarian values.
- Promote sustainability programmes ensuring operational alignment with environmental initiatives.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in fast-paced hospitality environments, particularly in bar or food service roles.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent qualification).
- Passion for collaborative partnerships with teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Track record of concept development, including recipe innovation for menu design.
- Ability to upgrade beverage sales with a strategy that aligns with brand goals.
- Capacity to build strong relationships with vendors and partners.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and empathy to engage across diverse contexts.
- Demonstrated marketing acumen, including mindset, strategy application, and campaign execution.
- Must possess strong communication (listening, speaking, reading and writing) skills, with primary proficiency in English.
Physical Demands
The role involves working on-site with reasonable accommodations for mobility, physical stamina, and proactiveness. Must be adaptable to operational demands as outlined, including managing dynamic and sometimes challenging environments.
