Job Description
Position summary
To provide management and operational execution of the backroom bar. Live music promotions, marketing, innovative beverage & food recipes, promotions, and relationships within the industry to ensure that the Hard Rock ‘Back Room Bar’ is providing a premium beverage & food experience to guests.
Essential Functions
- Collaborate with Cafe Operations to ensure that recipes are executed correctly.
- Ensure exceptional Guest Service standards.
- Ensure that the COS is in line with company goals.
- Maintain catalog of recipes.
- Build relationships with vendors.
- Build relationships with industry leads in music & beverage.
- Build relationships in Marketing and promotions.
- Profile, design and execute Marketing strategy.
- Develop Live Music leads.
- Advise and possibly create new recipes for menu rollouts/events/experiential programs.
- Create and launch innovative beverage contests to enhance promotional activity.
- Ensure that the company is abiding by company and local alcohol service compliance.
- Develop training tools for proper execution.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales & Marketing to execute any possible marketing & sales opportunities.
- Develop the Back Room Bar concept.
- Collaborate with cafe operations, and where needed, operate alongside to execute any further needs.
- Working weekends and night shifts to meet the operational needs.

Nonessential Functions
- Coordinate operations.
- Present a professional image to employees, guests, clients, owners and investors.
- Attend client functions and designated parties to provide support, ensure guest satisfaction and promote future business.
- Build business/market share by thinking of new ways to promote company and by participating in local events to increase sales and profits. Develop and maintain positive relationships with in the business and social community. Spearhead annual philanthropic initiatives.
- Work as a team, helping all employees to complete the required activities that ensure we blow away Guest expectations.

Requirements
MINIMUM
- Relevant experience in a fast-paced environment within the hospitality industry.
- High School Qualifications.
- Must enjoy collaborating with the field and with vendors.
- Must show history and success in developing concepts.
- Must possess the skill set to increase beverage sales while maintaining company strategies.
- The ability to form relationships with vendors.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong collaborative skill set.
- Shows understanding of Marketing skills and mindset.
Language Skills
- Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing.
- Comprehend and use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Multiple language abilities a plus, fluency in English required.
