About the Role
We are a fast-growing FinTech company looking for a talented and enthusiastic engineer to join our team. We are expanding, making this a perfect position if you would like to have a significant impact on our company’s growth and develop your role and career as the business evolves. You will join a team where your ideas will be welcomed and valued.
You will be responsible for designing, developing and enhancing our core platform by contributing to the delivery of new projects and improvements to our current ones, working on business-critical systems and helping to shape how the platform scales and evolves.
The role spans the full development lifecycle — from technical designs and implementation through to databases and DevOps. You need to be flexible and innovative and be able to handle challenges.
Role Responsibilities
- Enhance and extend our core Cash Management platform, using your extensive experience in .NET and C# development.
- Help design, build and operate distributed, microservices-based systems.
- Take part in technical designs — considering the full system, weighing trade-offs, and helping the team choose the right tools and patterns.
- Design and develop event-driven, asynchronous workflows and messaging integrations.
- Work with stakeholders across the business to analyse requirements and develop solutions.
- Implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting.
- Apply DevOps practices to deliver resilient, scalable and secure software.
- Produce accurate technical and non-technical documentation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
