We're working with a leading global recruitment firm specialising in technology placements, connecting top talent with innovative companies. We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join their client's data infrastructure team.
The Role
- Drive large-scale pipeline migrations and develop core platform features
- Work within Flink and Lakehouse architectures
- Independently contribute to existing codebases
- Ship high-quality code reliably
- Operate effectively in ambiguous and fast-paced environments

What You'll Need
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, and Go
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proven ability to work autonomously and adapt quickly
- Understanding of data infrastructure and pipeline concepts
- Bonus: Experience with JVM-based frameworks (Flink, Beam, Dataflow, or Spark)
- Bonus: Familiarity with BigQuery, SQL, Scala, and Kubernetes
