Senior Backend Developer | Fully Remote (UK) | Salary up to £75,000 Plus Bonus!
iO Associates is currently partnered with an award-winning fintech that's on a mission to help families teach children about money through innovative digital products. They're looking to add a Senior Backend Developer to their growing engineering team.
About the Role
This is an opportunity to join a collaborative, product-led environment where you'll take ownership of features from concept through to production. Working alongside Product Managers, Designers and Technical Leads, you'll help shape architecture, build scalable backend services, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of a modern AWS-based platform.

- Node.js, TypeScript & JavaScript
- AWS (ECS, Lambda, CDK, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, X-Ray)
- PostgreSQL / SQL
- REST APIs & JSON web services
- Jest, Git, GitHub Flow
- CI/CD and modern engineering best practices
Key Responsibilities
You'll be a great fit if you enjoy writing clean, maintainable code, mentoring others, championing engineering best practices, and working in an Agile environment where your ideas genuinely influence the product and technical direction.
