About Element Human (Crowd Emotion Ltd)
Element Human (Crowd Emotion Ltd) has been around for six years, learning about emotions and working through several iterations of our new HX Workbench. We currently primarily work with brands, agencies and publishers, but we support anyone who wants to understand how people feel about them and their products.
We plan to grow fast but sustainably and we're looking for new team members who can help with that. We want to find people who will work independently, hold themselves to a high standard and support their teammates. In return, we are flexible about hours and encourage working from home. We believe that if treat our employees like adults they will produce their best work.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About the Role
After six years working with emotions and behaviour, we've just released our new platform and we're looking for someone who can help our team develop it further. We're looking for someone who has practical experience in building big analytics systems, handing row counts of 100 million or more, or data measured in terabytes. We'd prefer someone who has implemented SQL and NoSQL database designs in a big data context and has previously worked with agile methodologies.
