About The Role
The role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced backend engineer to join a dynamic team focused on building and maintaining AI-driven products. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and operating production-grade code, ensuring high performance and reliability of the platform. While the position is primarily hands-on, there is a clear pathway toward broader technical ownership, including architecture leadership, mentoring, and becoming a principal technical authority within the team, over the next 12 to 18 months. This role does not involve management responsibilities at present but provides significant scope for technical growth and influence within the organization.

- Extensive experience with C# and modern.NET frameworks, particularly.NET 8 or later
- Proven expertise in deploying Blazor applications in production environments
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture design and operational management
- Hands-on experience working with Azure cloud services, including App Service, Container Apps, Azure SQL, Service Bus, and Key Vault
- Proficiency in using Terraform for infrastructure as code management
- Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines for implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of API gateway patterns and implementing API security protocols
- Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and security best practices
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Practical experience integrating AI components into production services, including prompt design, model versioning, evaluation, and managing cost and latency trade-offs
- Comfort with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code or equivalent

Responsibilities
The core responsibilities of this role include:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services using C# and.NET technologies
- Implementing microservices-based solutions to ensure scalability and modularity of the platform
- Deploying and managing applications within Azure cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance and security
- Developing infrastructure as code using Terraform to automate deployment and configuration processes
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps to facilitate continuous integration and delivery
- Implementing API gateway patterns and security measures to protect and manage API endpoints
- Collaborating with AI teams to integrate AI models into production workflows, ensuring efficiency and reliability
- Participating in code reviews, technical discussions, and documentation to uphold high coding standards and best practices
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to technical architecture decisions as part of career development
- Staying updated with emerging technologies and continuously improving the platform’s capabilities
