About The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to register your interest in Backend Development roles within our growing technology practice. Typical Role Overview
- Location: Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, or nationwide UK
- Type: Contract
- Full-time
- Day Rate: £600–800 per day (depending on experience and seniority)
- Domain: Backend Development, Cloud & Distributed Systems
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred
What You Would Do
- Designing and implementing backend services using .NET, ASP.NET, Java, Spring Boot, or Python
- Building and maintaining microservices architectures and APIs
- Working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP to deploy and scale applications
- Contributing to CI/CD pipeline development and infrastructure automation using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Implementing and optimizing data pipelines and ensuring data quality across systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate enterprise solutions such as SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC
- Writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews
- Supporting the troubleshooting and optimization of distributed systems

What You Could Bring
Must-have
- Strong experience with backend development using at least one of:.NET, ASP.NET, Java, Spring Boot, or Python
- Working knowledge of APIs, microservices, and distributed systems design
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of CI/CD practices and tools
- SQL and database design experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
Nice-to-have
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or SAP RISE
- Kubernetes or Docker certifications
- AWS Certified Developer or Microsoft Azure Administrator Certified Associate
- Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform)
- Data pipeline and ETL knowledge
- Linux system administration
- Security awareness and CompTIA Security+ knowledge
