About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our dynamic team at Parser. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures that support our data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data processing, scripting, and database management, along with a passion for solving complex data challenges. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects that directly impact our clients' success, leveraging the latest technologies in data engineering and analytics.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in data engineering, data pipeline development, and database management.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to support various analytics and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Implement data quality and validation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability.
- Manage and monitor data infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Document data architecture, processes, and best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and incorporate them into projects.
