Pinnacle Bagging Operative Role
Pinnacle are currently seeking a Bagging Operative to join our Workplace team based within a large, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across a range of services including cleaning, security, catering, and specialist industrial support. With a national team of nearly 600 colleagues, we partner with clients across manufacturing, retail, education, and corporate office settings, providing reliable, high-quality service delivery that supports operational efficiency and safe working environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate computerised, automated packaging and bagging equipment, carrying out troubleshooting to keep production lines running.
- Accurately input batch numbers and material codes into printers.
- Visually monitor products and packaging to ensure quality and integrity.
- Set up machinery, including line speeds and functions, to correct specifications to maximise efficiency and minimise waste.
- Inspect conveyors and scales prior to line start-up and during changeovers.
- Monitor bagging lines for issues such as pile-ups or jams and take corrective action.
- Stop, reset, and clear machines in the event of malfunctions, escalating issues to supervisors where required.
- Remove finished palletised product from the bagging line using a counterbalance FLT and store in designated locations.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of assigned machines and work areas.
- Complete all required daily paperwork accurately.
- Liaise effectively with plant and warehouse staff.
- Adhere to OCS (Operation Clean Sweep) standards.
- Carry out additional duties as requested by the manager.

Skills & Experience
- Good level of safety awareness.
- Proficient in the use of a counterbalance FLT.
- Comfortable using menu-driven selection screens.
- Experience working with automated packaging or bagging machinery (desirable).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
