**Bagging Operative – Branching (Workplace)**Motherwell, Gilburgh
Pinnacle are currently seeking a Bagging Operative to join our Workplace team based within a large, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
About the Role
Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across a range of services including cleaning, security, catering, and specialist industrial support. With a national team of nearly 600 colleagues, we partner with clients across manufacturing, retail, education, and corporate office settings, providing reliable, high-quality service delivery that supports operational efficiency and safe working environments.
In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining production flow, operating automated packaging and bagging equipment whilst upholding strict standards for safety, quality, and efficiency. This is a hands-on position suited to a proactive, detail-orientated individual who is comfortable working in a dynamic production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate computerised, automated packaging and bagging equipment, performing troubleshooting to maintain production line efficiency.
- Accurately input batch numbers and material codes into the system for printing.
- Visually monitor products and packaging for quality and integrity compliance.
- Set up machinery, including line speeds and functions, to meet production specifications while maximising efficiency and minimising waste.
- Inspect conveyors and scales before and during changeovers.
- Monitor bagging lines for issues such as pile-ups or jams, taking corrective actions as required. Stop, reset, and clear machinery during malfunctions, and escalate to supervisors when necessary.
- Use a counterbalance FLT to safely remove and store finished palletised product in designated areas.
- Ensure machines and work areas are clean and safe in line with company standards.
- Complete all required daily paperwork accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with plant and warehouse staff.
- Adhere to OCS (Operation Clean Sweep) standards.
- Carry out additional duties as requested by management.

Skills & Experience
- A good level of safety awareness, with strict adherence to manufacturing and industry standards.
- Proficient in the use of a counterbalance FLT.
- Ability to navigate menu-driven selection screens.
- Experience working with automated packaging or bagging machinery is desirable, but not compulsory.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
