Location: The role is based within our Bakery at The Wenzel's Head Office, Sunley House Olds Approach, Watford, WD18 9TB. Pay & Hours: For our Bread Baker roles, we offer a competitive pay of £13.50 - £14.50 per hour, depending on experience, working 35 hours per week over 5 days, Monday - Sunday. Hours are between 08:00 pm and 04:00 am. Benefits: Free meal provided every shift and 50% off all other food. Previous experience in bread production is required. Experience in preparing and baking a broad range of bread, buns and rolls to the Company’s highest standards of quality. Knowledge and previous experience as a baker (Night Shift), including: Strong knowledge of breads, including artisan bread baking techniques. Ability to prepare and handle dough, including mixing, proofing, and shaping. Proficiency in oven work and baking to required standards. Experience with bakery machinery, such as bread moulders, roll machinery, and doughnut fryers, is preferred. Previous hand-moulding experience is an advantage. Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and Health & Safety regulations in a bakery environment. Ability to clean and maintain stationary machinery and equipment used in daily production. Ability to work independently and as part of a team during night shifts. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy ingredients, and work in a fast-paced environment.
