Bakery Assistant
Position: In-Store Bakery Assistant
Type: Full-Time/ Part-Time / Seasonal
Pay Rates: Up to £12.71 per hour depending on age
Join our One Great Team here at Haven as an In-store Bakery Assistant, where you’ll be baking and serving fresh treats daily, helping create memorable holiday moments for our guests and owners!
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic In-Store Bakery Assistant to prepare, bake, and display fresh pastries, and other bakery items. If you’re passionate about great food and enjoy interacting with customers, this role is a fantastic way to make every day delicious for our guests and owners!
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a range of fresh products, including bread, pastries, and other bakery treats.
- Ensure displays are well-stocked, clean, and attractive for guests throughout the day.
- Provide friendly and efficient service, answering customer questions and offering recommendations.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in all areas.
- Assist with managing stock levels, including checking product freshness and rotating items as needed.

Requirements
- Experience in a bakery or food handling role is beneficial but not required—training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude with good communication skills.
- Ability to work early morning shifts and flexible hours, including weekends.
- Willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Due to lone working, operating hot ovens and equipment, applicants must meet the minimum age requirement of 18.
