39 hours per week - Salary circa £35,000 subject to experience
About the Role
This role is primarily based at our Bakery in Lochore but will involve regular travel across our Retail Shops, Bakery and Office locations. Flexibility is required to support operational and business needs.
Whilst this role supports learning and development activities across the wider business, there will be a particular focus on supporting capability development, operational excellence and leadership within our Bakery operation.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have previous experience within Learning & Development, Training, Coaching or People Development.
Previous experience within a bakery, food production or FMCG environment would be advantageous.

We use traditional baking methods to produce the finest, freshest, mouthwatering products which we only sell in our own Bakery Shops.

Key Responsibilities
What your key responsibilities are as Bakery Learning Partner:
- Work in partnership with managers to identify capability gaps and development needs.
- Deliver engaging training workshops, leadership development sessions and coaching support across the business.
- Support managers in developing confidence, capability and performance within their teams.
- Design and develop practical learning materials, guides and digital learning content.
- Support the delivery and continuous improvement of leadership and management development programmes.
- Deliver blended learning solutions through face-to-face, virtual and digital methods.
- Reinforce learning through follow-up coaching, observations and practical support.
- Support the implementation and embedding of structured learning programmes within operational environments.
- Observe practical competence and provide constructive feedback and guidance.
- Support managers to embed learning into day-to-day activities and drive behaviour change.
- Monitor learning activity and support evaluation of learning effectiveness.
- Support training requirements relating to new equipment, machinery, systems, processes and business improvement initiatives across the Bakery operation.
- Contribute to Learning & Development projects and continuous improvement activities.
- Promote consistency, continuous improvement and best practice across learning activities.
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across Retail, Bakery, Office and People functions.
Key Skills and Experiences Required

Key skills and experiences required of our Bakery Learning Partner:
- Previous experience within Learning & Development, Training, Coaching or People Development.
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills.
- Ability to build effective working relationships and influence stakeholders positively.
- Experience supporting operational teams within bakery, food production, retail, hospitality or similar environments.
- Experience designing and delivering engaging learning solutions.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Confident using digital learning tools and platforms.
- Experience working with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including supporting the implementation, review and embedding of operational standards.
- Passionate about people development and supporting others to succeed.
- Experience creating digital learning content (e.g. Articulate, RISE or similar platforms) would be advantageous.
- Understanding of performance management, talent development and succession planning would be advantageous.
- Previous experience within a bakery, food production or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment would be advantageous.
- Full UK Driving Licence required due to travel requirements.
