Job Overview
Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker - School Aged Immunisation Service
Join our School Aged Immunisation Service and help protect children and young people against serious diseases. Based at County Hall, Glenfield, you'll work in schools across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, supporting vaccination sessions and undertaking some administrative duties. Job Description Summary (Main Duties And Responsibilities)
Support a school immunisation service by delivering vaccination sessions, managing vaccines/equipment, and completing administrative tasks. Work within a large rostered team (Mon-Fri, 7am-5pm). Requires healthcare experience, excellent communication, IT and literacy skills, understanding of quality care and the Healthcare Assistant role, Level 2 Maths/English, Care Certificate, and a UK driving licence. Experience with children and an NVQ/QCF in Care are desirable.
