Job Summary

An exciting Opportunity is available to work within a busy fast paced, cleaning department at Solihull Hospital. The positions are varied across the AM & PM period, covering weekends also. Part time working is available, and shift patterns will be discussed at the interview stage.

The right person will be hard working, enthusiastic about cleaning and keeping the environment clean in line with the National Cleaning Standards for Healthcare. You will need to be caring and Kind, as this role is a patient facing role, as the Patients at UHB are the centre of our focus.

Main Duties, Tasks & Skills Required

• Cleaning all Wards, Departments and Theatre areas of the Solihull Site.
• Serving Food and beverages to patients on the ward.
• Enhanced cleaning of rooms after patients leave, to control the spread of infection.
• Cleaning Bathrooms and toilet areas.
• Working as a team to keep your area/ward clean and tidy.
• Using floor scrubbing machinery and Steaming equipment (all training provided).
