Job Summary

Due to the expansion of our service, an opportunity has arisen to join the small, friendly administrative team of RRPPS's Approved Dosimetry Service.

RRPPS is the Radiation Protection Service of University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We provide the full range of medical physics and radiation protection services to UHBFT and external customers, including an HSE-approved Approved Dosimetry Service (ADS). The ADS provides monitoring "badges" to staff working with radiation; these are worn for a period then returned to be read and reported.

Main Duties, Tasks & Skills Required

  • Preparing dosemeters; issuing them to customers and receiving them back at the end of the monitoring period
  • Packaging and posting dosemeters in a timely fashion each month.
  • Receipting and processing large amounts of post daily.
  • Updating the bespoke ADS database; sending out dose reports; and dealing with customer queries via telephone and email
  • Using multiple office software for data input requiring attention to detail.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
