Amblescroft North Ward
Amblescroft North Ward is a 20 bedded Functional Older Adult unit based in Salisbury.
About the Role
This is an active, enjoyable and rewarding Band 3 Health Care Support Worker role within a team applying person centred assessment for people experiencing changes in needs due to their illness.
Working alongside colleagues from Psychology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Community Mental Health Teams, you will be developing further a culture that puts the person’s feelings at the forefront of their care.
The Person We Are Looking For
The person we are looking for must have a desire to develop their role in this area. Experience at working as a Health Care Support Worker is desirable as is older adults.
Working Conditions
The ward operates on a 24/7 shift basis and you will be required to work shifts including evenings, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays and will qualify for unsocial enhancements in addition to your basic pay.

Training and Development
Working closely with our multi disciplinary teams, supporting service users, you will receive training to complete the NHS Care Certificate and a Level 3 Healthcare apprenticeship.
