Job Summary
We are looking for an individual with experience in supervising/supporting a small team, booking appointments, understanding electronic diary and waiting lists, Reception and admin duties, work within deadlines and can use your own initiative. Accuracy and attention to details are paramount. Candidates should be confident in prioritising their workload and should have experience in NHS clinical systems such as CRIS and Oceano and excellent time management and communication skills as well as working within a team.
This is a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the management team and the reception team, ensuring clear communication, promoting collaboration, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the service. Ensures that local policies and procedures are consistently applied and aligned across all sites, helping to maintain high standards of service delivery and operational consistency.
The Imaging Directorate provides 24/7 service delivery and has an established track record of service re-design and transformation. This vacancy offers an excellent opportunity to join a professional and dedicated Imaging team committed to providing a first-class service.
The Imaging Service at Heartlands Hospital and the CDC operates Monday -- Sunday, 8:00am -- 8pm, and involves weekend work and the Bank holidays on a rotational basis.

Main Duties, Tasks & Skills Required
We are looking for an individual with experience in supervising/supporting a small reception team. Be responsible for deliveries, ensuring all changes actioned and communicated to the Team leader. Booking appointments, understanding electronic diary and waiting lists, Reception and admin duties, face to face patient contact, work within deadlines and can use your own initiative.

Qualifications
Essential
- Good general Education (e.g., GSCE English and Maths A-C, GCSE Level 9-4)
- Business Administrative NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in an administrative role
Experience

- Experience of dealing with the Public/Customer service experience
- Experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Experience of using IT systems
- Experience of working in a busy environment
