Clinical Care Navigator Opportunity

We are keen to attract Clinical Care Navigators who are looking for new challenges and opportunities. This post will support the G.P service in the Urgent Treatment Centre based in Emergency Care, which is extremely busy. You’ll be exposed to caring for different groups of patients and may be required to assist the Accident and Emergency Department.

Role Requirements

We are looking for experienced Clinical Support Workers. Hospital experience is desirable but not essential. A minimum of GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4 or Functional skills for English/Maths is required. You will be required to act as front line Clinical/Clerical support, supporting the patient journey through the Urgent Treatment Centre.

Responsibilities

Successful applicants will be required to complete an Induction course, which will include all the Trust statutory/Mandatory training to join our team inviting them to share their knowledge and experience with the ward. You will need to be well motivated and committed to high standards of patient care and personal professional development.

  • Provide delegated clinical procedures such as insertion/removal of cannula, venepuncture, wound assessment and simple dressings, removal of urinary catheter.
  • Training will be provided.
