Medical Rota Coordinator - Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG)
About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual with excellent communication skills to join our BNSSG Management Team as a Medical Rota Coordinator.
This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to broaden their skillset and work closely with medical staff. Essential qualifications include the ability to:
- Prioritise effectively
- Organise tasks efficiently
- Escalate issues promptly
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of medical rotas
- Coordinate induction days for medical staff
- Maintain information systems
- Produce information/reports/spreadsheets as requested
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage on-call Medical Rotas predominantly within BNSSG, covering:
- Consultants
- SpRs (Specialty Registrars)
- Junior Doctors
- Compile on-call rotas for approximately 80 medical staff, ensuring fair rotation scheduling
- Source cover and swaps for shift requirements
- Liaise with medical staff to provide information and support
Location and Work Scope
- Focused primarily on out-of-hours service provision within BNSSG
- Regular interaction with staff from various NHS professions, as well as external partners/stakeholders
