Responsibilities
- 20 hours per week | 2 x 10-hour night shifts (9pm–8am)
Locala is seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our Community Nursing Network (CNN) Out of Hours service. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy autonomous practice and delivering high-quality care overnight to patients in their own homes.
We operate across North Kirklees and Greater Huddersfield, providing responsive, person-centred community nursing care.
About The Role
As a Band 5 Community Staff Nurse (OOH), you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of care overnight by:
- Delivering safe, effective nursing care to housebound patients.
- Undertaking holistic assessments and responding to urgent clinical needs.
- Supporting patients to manage long-term conditions and prevent avoidable hospital admissions.
- Working collaboratively with the wider community and urgent care services.
Working Pattern
- 20 hours per week - per position
- 2 × 10-hour night shifts
- 9pm–8am
- Includes weekend and bank holiday working as part of the rota.
