As an all-age mental health service provider, we are involved in a range of transformational professional practice, professional standards, workforce development and training and education projects, both internal to the Trust and Region wide for psychological professionals. Role Overview

You will support, co-ordinate and monitor professional practice, professional standards, workforce development and Education & Training for Psychological Professionals Projects within Chief Psychologist’s portfolio. This 22-month fixed-term full-time co-ordination role will have a strong project support and data reporting focus, and will also include key elements of project coordination and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective and comprehensive administrative support to the Chief Psychologist and senior Psychological Professions leads responsible for key project areas.
  • Be supported to work autonomously, initiating action on behalf of the Chief Psychologist linked to agreed programmes of work.
  • Monitor and diarise key project meetings and monitor key elements of Corporate Psychology projects.
  • Monitor email accounts and queries ensuring that service contacts receive a prompt response to all correspondence and enquiries.
  • Take the lead in providing workforce project support and coordination of workforce data returns for the Chief Psychological Professions Officer, working autonomously to deliver various programmes of work.

Work Environment

This position will be hybrid working with pre-planned attendance at Trust sites as required.

The Psychological Professions work across a diverse range of all-age mental health services covering Birmingham and Solihull. In addition to our clinical services, we also have an established training programme with our local Universities, to provide Low Intensity Psychological Interventions training for NHS Talking Therapies service and are clinical placement providers for a range of course programmes for the Psychological Professions workforce. We also host Psychological Professionals Network for the midlands and have strong working relationships with NHS England and Birmingham & Solihull Education Collaborative. We work together to ensure that our colleagues have the best possible CPD and training opportunities to provide best possible care for our service users and communities.
