Band 6 Radiographer X-ray (Bolsover Street). Part time position.
Must Have a Minimum Of 2 Years NHS Experience.
About the Role
The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust is the largest specialist orthopaedic Trust in the UK with a world renowned reputation.
We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic HCPC registered radiographer with good general X-ray experience to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will rotate between the two sites (Bolsover Street and Stanmore) with the main site being Bolsover Street.
Key Responsibilities
- Work across all areas of the X-ray department.
- Provide high quality diagnostic images whilst ensuring patient care and safety is paramount.
- Work closely with other members of the team including radiologists, radiographers, and clinical support workers.
- Be a senior presence within the department and involved in the teaching of students and more junior members of staff.
- Manage your workload effectively, applying knowledge and skill to produce high quality images and adapt techniques to meet complex patient requirements.
- Have good knowledge of the patient information system Epic after training.

About the X-ray Department
The Bolsover Street X-ray department has 2 general x-ray rooms. The Stanmore site has 3 general x-ray rooms, 1 fluoroscopy unit, 5 portable ward machines, and a DXA scanner. There are 15 theatres along with image intensifiers, O-Arm and Cios Spin machines. We have also acquired EOS and HiRise Ped CT scanners.
The Bolsover Street X-ray department opens Monday to Friday 8am to 6.30 pm. This post includes lone working once the probation period has been completed.
