Job Title: General Radiographer

Location: Plymouth, Devon

Banding: Band 6

Start: ASAP

Duration: Full-time

Rate: £34 - £37 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 18:00pm

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Radiographer to join our client's dynamic team in Plymouth. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment, providing high-quality radiographic services. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall efficiency of the radiology department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Band 6 Radiographer will be responsible for performing a wide range of radiographic examinations, ensuring the highest standards of imaging quality and patient safety.
  • Duties include operating advanced imaging equipment, maintaining accurate patient records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive diagnostic services.
  • The role also involves participating in quality assurance activities, adhering to departmental protocols, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Radiography or equivalent
  • HCPC registration
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in general radiography
  • Proficiency in using advanced imaging equipment
  • Strong understanding of radiation protection principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
