Position: MSK Physiotherapy Banding: 6 Location: West Berkshire Community Hospital Pay Rate: £ 24-27 Start Date: ASAP Hours: Pattern: 34 hours, Mon / Tues / Thurs / Fri , 8am for 5pm (one day until 6pm)  Duration: 3 months

About Pulse Pulse is now recruiting for a band 6 Physiotherapist to join the specialist MSK team with a well-established NHS client based in Brackwell. The role is available for the successful physiotherapist to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours per week for a 3 month period. Applying physiotherapists must have experience working within an MSK setting and carry a caseload of MSK patients of varying complexity. Must have extensive MSK Physiotherapy Outpatients experience. 

Key Responsibilities and Essential Skills

  • No remote working,
  • Would consider higher bands
  • HCPC registration
  • Degree Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
  • 2+ years of experience as an MSK Physiotherapist
  • NHS Experience (Desirable)
  • Role within MSK outpatients
  • Knows how an NHS physio department runs
  • MSK experience is key so this would not need teaching.
  • Tailor the type of treatment to the specific disorder.
  • Use supportive counselling to explore troubling issues and receive emotional support
  • Use your knowledge of how the body works to advise appropriate treatment plans
