Are you an experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist looking for a rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference every day?
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Band 6 Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our experienced multidisciplinary therapy team in a well-established specialist school for children and young people aged 3–19 with severe, profound and complex learning needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and collaborative team where therapy is fully integrated into the school day. You will have the time to build meaningful relationships with pupils, families and colleagues, enabling you to make a lasting impact on children's physical development, independence and quality of life.

About the Role
You will provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and intervention for pupils with severe, profound and multiple learning disabilities, complex physical disabilities and associated medical needs.
Hydrotherapy is an integral part of our therapy provision, particularly for our pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). You will lead our weekly hydrotherapy programme, supported by experienced teachers and teaching assistants, ensuring therapy is evidence-based, purposeful and tailored to each child's individual goals.
You will also:
- Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions across the school.
- Develop and review individual therapy programmes.
- Contribute to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), annual reviews and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Advise and train school staff on positioning, handling, mobility and therapeutic programmes.
- Work closely with families, education staff and the wider multidisciplinary team to maximise each pupil's independence and participation.

About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- HCPC registered.
- An experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist (Band 6 or equivalent).
- Confident in delivering hydrotherapy as part of a paediatric service.
- Experienced in working with children and young people with complex physical disabilities and/or severe learning difficulties.
- Passionate about improving outcomes for children with additional needs.
- An excellent communicator who enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
