Exciting Opportunity for Band 6 Team Leader

We have an exciting opportunity to offer a Band 6 Team Leader Fixed Term or Secondment professional development opportunity position on CCU & Cath labs.

About the Role

CCU is a busy 12 bedded Unit nursing elective and emergency admissions. In addition, the role will have the potential to involve rotation into the Cardiac Catheter Laboratories. This could be a wonderful opportunity for your professional development, which is encouraged, and the unit has good links to the University of Brighton. The team is both friendly and supportive, with a strong commitment to providing a high standard of care.

Key Requirements

  • Qualifications: You should be a 1st level RGN, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and hold ENB 998/Mentorship level 3 or equivalent.
  • Experience: Four years post registration experience is desirable. At least two years’ experience at Band 5 with proven management and leadership skills and a Cardiac pathway qualification would be desirable.
