Position: Locum MSK Physiotherapist Banding: Band 6/7 Location: Barnsley Hospital Start Date: ASAP End Date: Part-Time Hours: (2 days per week) Rate: £24.00 - £32.00 per hour
Job Description: We are seeking a Band 6/7 Locum MSK Physiotherapist to join our team at Barnsley Hospital. This role is vital for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with musculoskeletal conditions. You will play a key role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve their physical health and well-being.
What your responsibilities will be for this Physiotherapist role?
As a Band 6/7 Locum MSK Physiotherapist You will conduct thorough assessments of patients with musculoskeletal issues, developing individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs. You will implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation techniques. You will monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, sharing insights and recommendations regarding patient treatment. You will maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards.

Qualifications and Experiences:
- Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy
- Experience working in an MSK setting
- Significant post-graduate clinical experience, including exposure to musculoskeletal/orthopaedics, medical/surgical/ITU, and neurology
- Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
