About the Role

In this critical role, you’ll work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient recovery, independence, and well-being. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough occupational assessments to evaluate patients’ needs and functional abilities.
- Design and implement personalised treatment plans to improve independence, mobility, and quality of life.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions targeting physical, cognitive, and psychosocial well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, social workers) to ensure holistic patient care.
- Monitor and adjust care plans based on patient progress, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Provide education and guidance to patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic strategies.
- Maintain con Wilkinson-trained, accurate, and confidential patient records in line with NHS standards.
- Actively participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant qualification (degree or diploma) in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Completion of NHS mandatory training.
- Proven NHS (or equivalent healthcare) experience as an Occupational Therapist.
Desirable Skills
- Strong clinical judgment with the ability to adapt to diverse patient needs (including paediatric cases).
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
- Familiarity with electronic patient record systems (e.g., EPMAnet, other NHS databases).
