Recovery College Lead

The Recovery College Lead will help support the strategic and operational leadership for the redesign, development, and implementation of the Trust’s Recovery College. Working in partnership with service users, carers, clinicians, partner organisations, and ImROC (Implementing Recovery through Organisational Change), the post holder will help lead the development of a sustainable, co-produced model that reflects best practice in recovery-focused care.

Role Responsibilities

  • Driving the Recovery College Programme Forward: Supporting the establishment of governance and operational arrangements, engaging stakeholders, and overseeing the successful implementation and relaunch of the service.
  • Project Delivery and Service Development: Leading on project delivery, service development, and quality improvement, ensuring the Recovery College aligns with Trust priorities and the ambitions of the NHS 10 Year Plan.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Working autonomously and collaboratively across directorates, providing expert advice and leadership to support the ongoing development, evaluation, and sustainability of the Recovery College.

Key Duties

  • Coordination of the Recovery College implementation plan.
  • To work closely with other leads in the portfolio to deliver overall impact for users and carers.
  • Responsible for communication of highly complex information regarding the current state and forward plan regarding mainstreaming of recovery, able to lead and take others on the journey.
  • Analysis of highly complex performance data in assessing baseline and progress against agreed metrics.
  • Leads through co-production and collaboration, engaging key partners in the overall aim of embedding the recovery approach.
  • Develops and implements the underpinning plans for the overall programme and project work streams in conjunction with the Head of Spiritual Care and Recovery College.
  • Responsible for delegated budget for the Recovery College team.
  • Undertakes complex analysis of information supporting evaluation and research into the impact and effectiveness of recovery approaches and developments upon individuals and systems.
